How To Brand Yourself in Network Marketing
Personal branding is the latest trend. But how do you brand yourself within a
network marketing company?
First, decide if you want to lead with the business or the
product? If you lead with the business,
you will brand the benefits of being in the business. If you want to lead with the products, you
will share the value of using the products.
Leading with your business will attract prospects to recruit, leading with your products will get you more
sales. Think about what are you most passionate
about! Why did you choose the business? Why do you love the products? If you had to market something everyday on
social media, what would you enjoy talking about?
Next, even if this is your first day in network marketing
remember that YOU ARE THE BRAND, YOU ARE THE EXPERT, YOU ARE THE BUSINESS. Companies come and go but YOU are what your
followers see! Do not openly share your network marketing company until you
feel confident about the business and the products. Some experts say don't mention your company at all and only share your network marketing company business name when people inquire. I completely understand because some people may already have a preconceived view of the company and it can stifle your impact before you even get a chance to start. So, focus more on branding yourself, brand your passion for the
benefits, and brand the value you are experiencing from the products or as a team
member.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, ask yourself before you make a post on social media -"Is this post shareable?" Meaning, would your followers share it with their followers? If not, it will not brand you. Sometimes we are so excited about talking about ourselves but in network marketing, even when you talk about yourself it should be relatable! So ask yourself before you post another selfie, other than my mom, who is going to actually share this?
Building your brand is all about enhancing the things you love! If your business is about health and wellness, your brand
should build around fitness, nutrition, recipes, and helping women feel good
about their bodies. You can post
something like, “If you’re interested in learning how I monetized my passion
for health, I would be happy to chat with you about what I’m doing.”
